Glossary of MMA Stats from Stats Fight app:
Thrown strikes are all strikes that were inflicted by the efforts of one fighter and taking into account the enemy's reaction to them. An important factor is the counting of strokes in the ground or in the clinch. In these positions, we only record high-amplitude strikes that either cause damage or the fighter expends considerable effort on them. We don't record low-amplitude strikes.
Landed strikes are either accurate strikes that have overcome the opponent's defense, or strikes that have been landed into the "frame block". A "frame block" is when a fighter's arms are tightly pressed against his body or head. We think that such strikes cause damage to the enemy. We don't consider it dangerous to strikes past or into a "free block".
We record successful takedowns, after which the fighter retained control. If a fighter makes a throw but is unable to maintain control, the takedown is considered an unsuccessful attempt. We also do not record fighting techniques, if the position has changed during a fight without the participation of fighters, then we simply change positions and do not record a takedown.
We record the submission attempt at the moment when the fighter fixes the "lock" of the reception. When a fighter makes only an attempt to fix a "lock", we don't consider such an action as an attempt to serve. We record the successful submission, after which the battle ends.
Time of Positions is the time and percentage of the total time during which the fight took place in a particular position (distance, clinch, ground).
Control of position is the time and percentage of the total position time (clinch or ground) during which one fighter had the advantage of his position over the other.
